Overview

Applications are invited for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Internship Program 2026. This is a project-based internship designed for postgraduate students, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience by working with top researchers and contributing to ADB's operational needs. The internship duration ranges from a minimum of 8 weeks to a maximum of 26 weeks. ADB offers internship opportunities twice a year.

Coverage

This is a fully-funded internship program. Interns will receive a stipend, the amount of which is determined by the internship location. Additionally, a limited amount for airfare will be provided to cover travel costs from the intern's home country to the appointed country where the internship will take place.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must be current students enrolled in a Master's or PhD degree program at a university in an ADB member country. Candidates must have an academic field of study directly related to ADB's work and possess excellent English language skills. Relevant professional experience for the assigned project is also required. Ethiopian students are eligible as Ethiopia is an ADB member country.

How to apply

It is advised to apply as early as possible to avoid submission errors, as late applications will not be considered.
