Google Student Researcher Internship 2026 | Paid Internships

The Google Student Researcher Internship for Fall 2026 is a paid international internship program designed for Bachelor's and Master's students. Interns will work directly with Google research scientists and engineers on innovative research projects, contributing to critical research that explores various topics. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable exposure to Google’s research environment and contribute to transformative projects, helping students polish their skills and grow in their chosen fields.

This is a fully-funded, paid internship. Interns will receive a salary and may also be eligible for a housing stipend and relocation bonus. This means interns do not have to worry about financial constraints during the program.

This internship is open to international students. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Natural Sciences, or a related technical field. Interns should have expertise in at least one area of computer science, including but not limited to Human Computer Interactions, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative Media, Data Science, Natural Language Understanding, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Quantum Information Science, Computer Vision, and Software Engineering. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and intend to return to their program after the internship. English proficiency is required. A crucial requirement is that interns must be physically located in the United States for the entire duration of the program.
