Overview

The Hansen Leadership Institute 2027 is a fully funded three-week summer exchange program hosted at the University of San Diego, California, USA. It aims to develop leadership skills, promote international cooperation, and foster a peaceful world. The program does not require IELTS and has no application fee. Academic background is not a primary selection factor; emphasis is placed on leadership skills and alignment with the program's objectives.

Coverage

This is a fully funded program. It covers international airfare, accommodation (room and board), all program-related costs including local tours, and the U.S. Visa fee.

Eligibility

The program is open to international undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of higher education, and graduate students with a professional interest in fields such as international relations, diplomacy, international economic development, or related areas. Applicants must be between 20 and 25 years old at the start of the program. Demonstrated leadership activities are essential. A valid international passport is required. Preference is given to candidates who have not previously visited the United States. Ethiopian students are eligible as it is open to all international students.

Requirements

Applicants need to provide a Letter of Recommendation from their Academic Advisor. A valid international passport is mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate leadership skills and ideas that align with the program's vision of creating a peaceful world through international cooperation. GPA is not a selection criterion.
