Overview

The University of Padua offers the Padua International Excellence Scholarship to highly talented international students, including those from Ethiopia, who wish to enroll in English-taught Bachelor's or Master's degree programs.

Coverage

Successful candidates receive a full tuition fee waiver (excluding a small admission fee for regional tax and stamp duty) and an €8,000 annual stipend to support living expenses.

Eligibility

Open to all international (non-Italian) students worldwide. Applicants must be prospective students applying for an English-taught degree program at the University of Padua.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a non-Italian high school diploma (for Bachelor's) or a non-Italian Bachelor's degree (for Master's). Selection is based on academic excellence, prior academic records, and the quality of the application submitted for the degree program.

How to apply

There is no separate scholarship application. You are automatically considered for the scholarship when you submit your application for an eligible English-taught degree program at the University of Padua. Ensure you apply during the first application period to maximize your chances.

Notes

Scholarships are highly competitive and merit-based. The duration is 3 years for Bachelor's and 2 years for Master's degrees. Students are expected to act as ambassadors for the university.
