Eligibility
This scholarship is open to international students from all over the world, including both male and female applicants. Ethiopian students are eligible to apply.
General requirements for all applicants:
* Must be of good conduct.
* Must fully commit to KAU regulations and by-laws.
* Must be medically fit.
* Must not have been dismissed from any university for any reason.
* Must not have been awarded a scholarship from a Saudi University previously.
Specific requirements by academic level:
* **For Undergraduate Students:**
* Must have obtained a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent from within KSA or abroad.
* The secondary school graduation certificate must not be older than 3 years.
* Must be between 17 and 25 years old.
* Must commit to full-time study (for regular students attending in the morning duty).
* Female students must be accompanied by a relative (within prohibited degrees) who is a regular resident.
* **For Master's Students:**
* Must not be older than 30 years.
* Must obtain excellent records in their previous education.
* Must achieve one of the following English language test scores: TOEFL PBT 500, TOEFL CBT 173, or IELTS 5.
* **For Ph.D. Students:**
* Must not be older than 35 years.
* Must obtain excellent records in their previous education.
* Must achieve one of the following English language test scores: TOEFL PBT 500, TOEFL CBT 173, or IELTS 5.
* **For applicants to Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Law and Studies, Sociology, Psychology, and Information Science programs:** Must be professional in the Arabic language.
