The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) offers full scholarships to talented young Africans who face financial or socio-economic challenges. The program aims to empower young women, refugees, internally displaced youth, and young people with disabilities by providing academic training, leadership development, and career preparation.

Eligibility

This program is open to young Africans. Priority is given to young women interested in STEM programs, internally displaced young people, and young people living with disabilities. All applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, a commitment to positively impacting their communities, and financial need. Academic requirements include passing WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with 5 credits (including English and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects in Arts, Sciences, or Social Sciences) in no more than two sittings, and achieving a minimum UTME score of 220 (with English Language and any three Social Science, Arts, or Science subjects).

Requirements

Applicants must provide evidence of academic qualifications (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB results, UTME scores), demonstrate financial need, and show leadership potential and commitment to community impact, likely through essays or personal statements.
