Overview

The Moroccan Government Scholarship Programme, managed by the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency (AMCI), offers international students the opportunity to pursue undergraduate, master's, and PhD studies at Moroccan public universities and higher institutions.

Coverage

The scholarship provides a bi-monthly living stipend of 1,750 Moroccan Dirhams (approx. $175 USD), two one-way airfare tickets (arrival and departure), and insurance protection. Note: Registration fees, accommodation, and local transport are not covered.

Eligibility

Open to international students, including those from Ethiopia. Applicants must be between 19-23 years old and meet specific academic requirements for their chosen level of study.

Requirements

Applicants must provide academic transcripts, birth certificates, national ID, passport copies, police clearance, and a medical certificate confirming good health and vaccination status. Master's and PhD applicants must provide proof of previous degrees (Bachelor's/Master's) and, for PhD candidates, a draft thesis project.

How to apply

Interested students should apply through the official AMCI channels or their local Moroccan embassy. Successful candidates will receive a Letter of Information/Convocation and must report to the AMCI 'Guichet Unique' upon arrival in Morocco to finalize registration.

Notes

Stipend payments are contingent upon consistent school attendance. Once accepted, the program of study and institution cannot be modified.
