This prestigious scholarship supports exceptional individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to finding sustainable solutions to large-scale global challenges. Up to five scholarships are awarded annually.

Coverage

This is a fully funded scholarship. It covers the full tuition fees for both the Master's degree and the MBA program. Additionally, scholars receive a living grant of at least £21,805 for each year of study. Recipients also benefit from international networking opportunities, mentorship, and chances to participate in various conferences and scholar community events.

Eligibility

* Open to students of all nationalities, including Ethiopian citizens. * Applicants must be new applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA program. * Applicants must receive admission to both a 1+1 MBA partnering program and the MBA before being considered for the scholarship. * Applicants admitted to both a full-time one-year Master's course (not officially part of the 1+1 MBA partnering programs) and the MBA (as a separate application) may also be considered. * Current Master's students who have received admission to the MBA and were not considered for the scholarship in the previous year may also be eligible. * Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership potential, personal character, commitment, and integrity. * They must have the intention to work on a global scale to address social and cultural problems. * Applicants should possess the ability to create scalable and sustainable solutions to these global challenges. * A clear vision of how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will help them achieve their objectives is required. * Applicants must have a good command of English.

Requirements

* A complete application for both the chosen Master's program and the 1+1 MBA program. * A scholarship essay, uploaded in the 'Funding' section of the 1+1 MBA program application. The essay must answer the question: “How do you intend to change the world, and what does this tell us about you as a person?” in a maximum of 500 words. * Admission to both the Master's and MBA programs is a prerequisite for scholarship consideration.

How to apply

1. Apply for the Oxford 1+1 MBA program by January 8, 2027. 2. Separately, apply for your chosen Master's program by its specific deadline, which typically falls in December 2026 or January 2027. 3. Ensure both applications are complete and include the required scholarship essay in the 'Funding' section of the 1+1 MBA application. 4. Highlight your leadership potential, character, commitment, and vision in your 1+1 MBA application, scholarship essay, and interview answers. 5. Shortlisting is planned for early April, with interviews expected in late April or early May.

Notes

* The scholarship is for the academic year 2027-2028. * Up to five fully funded scholarships are available. * The 1+1 MBA program allows students to combine a Master's degree with an MBA. * The scholarship provides opportunities for international networking, mentorship, and participation in conferences and community events.
