Progressive Automations Scholarship

Progressive Automations offers an annual scholarship program for engineering students. In 2026, the program focuses on Disaster Response & Climate-Related Automation, supporting innovative projects that use linear motion and actuator-based solutions to address increasing environmental threats and emergency challenges. Three scholarships are awarded to empower future engineers who excel academically, demonstrate strong technical curiosity, and are driven to make a real-world impact.

Each scholarship is valued at $2,500 CAD (approximately $1,800 USD). This is a partial scholarship intended to support students' educational expenses.

This scholarship is open to students of all nationalities who are currently enrolled in a full-time engineering program at a recognized Canadian or U.S. post-secondary institution for the September 2026 semester. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible to apply.

Applicants must submit the following: 1. A 700-word essay explaining why they should be selected for the scholarship. This essay should highlight academic achievements, technical interests, and professional goals, reflecting on how their engineering journey aligns with real-world impact, innovation, and responsible problem-solving. 2. An innovative application proposal that describes or designs a project utilizing electric linear actuators and related products to address a climate-related or disaster-response challenge. The proposal should include actuator specifications, model numbers, drawings, or technical details to explain the project thoroughly. 3. Verification of enrollment for the September 2026 semester at a Canadian or U.S. post-secondary institution. 4. A recent personal photo. Selected recipients may have their photo featured on the Progressive Automations website and social media. 5. Optionally, applicants may submit a copy of their high school transcripts to demonstrate academic performance. Proposals that appear to be primarily generated using AI tools without meaningful human input will not be considered.

Applications must be submitted online through the official application portal. The application window is from March 16 to June 15, 2026.

Winners are estimated to be announced in early July 2026.
