Overview

The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) provide a unique opportunity for students from Commonwealth countries to pursue a two-year Master's degree in a low- or middle-income Commonwealth country other than their own. The program aims to foster cultural exchange and academic collaboration to address shared global challenges.

Coverage

The scholarship is fully-funded, covering tuition fees, a living allowance (stipend), return economy flights, an arrival allowance, and a research support grant (subject to approval).

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens or hold refugee status in a Commonwealth country. You must apply to study in a low- or middle-income Commonwealth country other than your home country. There is no upper age limit.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree with an equivalent of a 2:1 grade. You must be a new student; the scholarship cannot fund a course already in progress.

How to apply

You must submit a QECS application via the official ACU website. Additionally, you must apply for admission to your chosen university course directly through that university's website. It is recommended to apply for the university course at the same time as the scholarship.

Notes

The program typically has two application cycles per year (Cycle 1 in Nov/Dec and Cycle 2 in March/April). Always use the official ACU website to avoid third-party scams.
