Overview

Bilingual Therapies offers scholarships to graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and School Psychology who are bilingual and intend to work with culturally and linguistically diverse children in school settings.

Coverage

The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of up to $7,000 for SLP students and up to $9,000 for doctoral-level school psychology students. Funds can be used for tuition, books, and living expenses.

Eligibility

Open to students enrolled in an ASHA-approved graduate program (for SLP) or a NASP/APA/state-approved school psychology program. Applicants must have native or near-native proficiency in a second language.

Requirements

Applicants must be entering their final year of their graduate program (for SLP) or their internship year (for School Psychology). Recipients must commit to working one school-based assignment for Bilingual Therapies after graduation.

Applications must be submitted via the official Bilingual Therapies website. Deadlines are July 15 for the fall semester and November 15 for the winter semester.

Notes

Recipients receive career support, including mock interviews and resume assistance, prior to graduation.
