Overview

The UAL International Masters Scholarship 2026 is offered by the University of the Arts London (UAL) in the United Kingdom. This scholarship is designed to support talented international students, particularly those from low-income nations, who wish to pursue a Master's degree in creative fields. The program aims to enable students to contribute to their communities and industries by promoting access to high-quality education.

Coverage

The scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver of £10,000 for a full-time or part-time taught Master's course. While the official scholarship title specifies £10,000, some sources also mention a generous stipend of up to £25,000, which may cover additional living costs.

Eligibility

* Open to all international students, including those from Ethiopia. * Applicants must have received an offer to study a full-time or part-time taught Master's course at one of UAL's Colleges and Institutes for the 2026/27 academic year. * You must qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status. * You must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognized equivalent qualifications are also accepted. * A personal statement is required as part of your scholarship application. * Applicants should not have previously pursued a postgraduate degree in the UK.

Requirements

* An offer letter for a full-time Master’s degree at UAL. * A current passport or other proof of identity. * Certificates and transcripts of your previous studies. * Financial records attesting to your income. * A personal statement responding to specific questions (maximum 350 words per question). * Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable). * An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.

How to apply

* First, you must apply for and be accepted into a full-time or part-time taught Master’s program at UAL. * Verify that you fulfill the nationality and financial conditions for the scholarship. * Gather all the necessary documents, including your personal statement, proof of income, and your UAL offer letter. * Once you receive an offer to study at UAL, a link to the scholarship application form will be sent to you via email and will be available on the 'my funding' page of your applicant portal from December 2025 onwards. * Submit your completed scholarship application by the relevant deadline. The Round 2 deadline is June 26, 2026. It is recommended to apply for your course in Round 1 (scholarship deadline March 27, 2026) to receive an earlier decision.

Notes

* Approximately 288 scholarships are available. * Applications are processed in rounds. If your scholarship application in Round 1 is unsuccessful, it will not be possible to be considered again in Round 2. * Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted from students who have not yet received a course offer. * While using AI tools to help structure responses is understood, applicants are asked to showcase their achievements and aspirations using their own voice.
