Overview

The UN Chemicals and Waste Management Program is a five-day intensive study program held in Geneva, Switzerland, designed for young professionals, students, and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in international environmental governance and UN negotiations.

Coverage

This is a fully funded opportunity. Benefits include round-trip airfare, accommodation, program participation fees, meals, immigration fees, and reimbursement for local transportation. Participants will also receive a UNITAR Certificate of Completion.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old. The program is specifically targeted at individuals from developing nations, Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Small Island Developing States (SIDS), and Native American communities. Ethiopian students are eligible to apply.

Requirements

Applicants should be students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals with an interest in chemicals, waste management, and international environmental policy.

Notes
