Overview

The Al Qasimi Foundation Internship Program in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates (within the last two years), to gain professional experience in public policy and research. The program offers a multicultural environment where interns contribute to projects related to education, public health, economic development, and urban planning.

Coverage

This is a paid internship. The Foundation provides furnished accommodation, local transportation, and a small stipend to cover living expenses. Interns are responsible for their own airfare and any additional personal costs.

Eligibility

Open to students and recent graduates from around the world, including Ethiopia. Applicants must be enrolled in or have recently completed a degree at an accredited university.

Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest in the UAE and the Gulf region. Proficiency in English is required; non-native speakers must provide a TOEFL iBT score of 85 or an IELTS score of 6.5. Required documents include a CV/resume, cover letter, official transcripts, academic writing sample, contact details for 2-3 referees, and English proficiency scores if applicable.

Notes

Interns are expected to produce a capstone output, such as a policy brief or research report, to be published by the Foundation. The internship duration is up to three months.
