Australian Catholic University (ACU) Stipend Scholarship 2026-2027

The Australian Catholic University (ACU) Stipend Scholarship for 2026-2027 offers financial support to both domestic and international students pursuing a Research Doctorate (PhD) or Research Masters degree. These scholarships are funded and administered by ACU to foster meaningful education and research.

Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive scholarship package including: * A stipend of AUD $34,315 per annum for full-time study. * A full fee offset, valued at approximately AUD $34,728 per annum. * For international applicants, a single Overseas Student Health Care Policy and a relocation allowance of up to AUD $2,000.

This scholarship is open to domestic and international students who are enrolled, or intend to enroll, in an accredited research higher degree program at Australian Catholic University. Priority is given to: * Applicants whose proposed research aligns with ACU's strategic research priorities or existing/emerging research strengths. * Applicants whose research can be adequately supported by the University's research environment, including supervision and infrastructure. * Indigenous Australians. * Applicants for doctoral-level study who have completed at least four years of full-time equivalent tertiary study and achieved first-class honours or equivalent results (e.g., high-quality academic publications or relevant work experience). * Applicants who have not previously undertaken doctoral-level study.

Applicants are expected to prepare their research idea, gather necessary documents, and organize referees or supervisors. Specific documents will be required during the application submission.

The application process involves six key stages: 1. Prepare: Develop your research idea, gather all required documents, and arrange for referees or supervisors. 2. Apply: Submit your complete application along with all supporting documents. 3. Referee reports: Ensure your nominated referees complete and submit their reports directly to support your application. 4. Assessment: ACU will review your application and all submitted materials. 5. Outcome: You will be notified of the scholarship decision. 6. Enrolment: If successful, accept your offer, complete the enrolment steps, and prepare to commence your research degree.
