Overview

The China Youth Summit 2026 is a 4-day international program organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) in Shenzhen, China, from November 9 to 12, 2026. The theme is "Empowering Youth Leadership Through Innovation and Technology for a Sustainable Future." It features an Innovative Project Competition where participants work in multicultural teams to design and present impactful projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The summit includes a Global Networking Forum, City Tour and University Visit, International Youth Summit, Panel Discussions with Global Experts, Innovation and Technology Ideathon, Leadership Development Workshops, and a Cultural Exchange & Awarding Night.

Coverage

Two registration options are available: Fully Funded and Self-Funded. Fully Funded Option: Covers full program fees, access to exclusive fully funded activities, opportunity to be a moderator in panel discussions, and additional mentorship opportunities. Self-Funded Option: Guarantees program participation, faster application processing, and mentorship opportunities. Self-funded participants pay both a registration fee and program fees in scheduled batches. All Participants Receive: An internationally recognized Certificate of Participation, accommodation during the summit period, meals, airport assistance (pickup and drop-off support), medical urgent care (if needed in emergency), international networking opportunities, and media & social media exposure. Award winners receive medals, recognition, and special perks.

Eligibility

This summit is open to individuals aged 15 to 40 years old from all nationalities and educational backgrounds (including high school, university, or graduate students, and young professionals). Applicants must have no criminal record and not be affiliated with extremist organizations. No IELTS or TOEFL is required, but English proficiency for participation is expected.

Requirements

For Fully Funded applicants: Complete a registration form and documentation, submit detailed essays and applications, and participate in interviews and evaluations. For Self-Funded applicants: Complete a registration form and documentation. All applicants should be passionate about innovation and sustainability and ready to lead change.

Pay fees: Fully Funded applicants pay only the $10 registration fee; Self-funded applicants pay the registration fee plus program fees in scheduled batches. 7. Confirm participation by visiting your registration dashboard, uploading remaining documents, and completing payment. 8. Attend pre-event preparation, including mandatory orientation activities. 9. Arrive in Shenzhen for the 4-day summit from November 9 to 12, 2026.

Notes

Fully Funded registration opens on April 15, 2026, and closes on July 15, 2026. These spots are limited and highly competitive, with only the strongest candidates being selected. Self-Funded registration opens on April 15, 2026, and closes on October 9, 2026. If a fully funded applicant is not selected, they can continue as a self-funded participant without re-registering. Self-funded participants who are declined receive a full refund in line with the refund policy. The summit offers international exposure, recognized certification endorsed by partner universities and government bodies, expert mentorship, opportunities to develop and pitch real-world innovation projects, cultural immersion, and a lifelong alumni network of 7,000+ changemakers.
