Overview

The EMILYs List Internship Program is designed for individuals with little to no professional political or campaign experience who are interested in pursuing a career in politics. Interns will engage in daily departmental work, attend staff events, and participate in brown bag sessions to learn from staff and gain deeper knowledge of various departments. The program also includes a signature "Change the World" training to equip interns with essential campaign skills.

Coverage

This is a paid internship, with interns receiving a wage of $18.40 per hour. Interns have the flexibility to work fully remotely or on a hybrid schedule at the EMILYs List headquarters in Washington D.C. Hybrid interns will agree on a weekly in-office schedule with their supervisor.

Eligibility

Applicants must be high school graduates, current college students, or professionals. Interns must reside within the United States for the entire duration of the program. They must also be available to work between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET and commit to a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.
