The Future Diplomats Forum (FDF) 2027 is a four-day international conference hosted by the Headway Institute of Strategic Alliance (HISA) in Geneva, Switzerland. It will take place from February 10-13, 2027. The forum aims to bring together young people from around the world to learn about diplomacy, international affairs, and international cooperation. The program includes workshops, panels, diplomatic simulations, networking, and engagement with international organizations based in Geneva.
Coverage
The forum offers 250 seats across three categories:
1. Fully Funded (50 seats): This scholarship covers international round-trip airfare, 4-star shared accommodation, visa support, meals (including daily breakfast), airport transfers, inter-city transport, full forum access, certification, merchandise, and speaking opportunities.
2. Partially Funded (100 seats): This scholarship covers 4-star shared accommodation, visa support, meals (including daily breakfast), airport transfers, inter-city transport, full forum access, certification, merchandise, and speaking opportunities. International airfare is not covered.
3. Forum Access (100 seats): This category covers visa support, summit meals, full forum access, certification, merchandise, and speaking opportunities. Accommodation and airfare are not included.
An application fee of $16.50 applies to all scholarship categories.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to applicants of all nationalities, including Ethiopian students/citizens. Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age. Students, recent graduates, and young professionals are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates from any academic or professional background are welcome. While not strictly required, an interest in diplomacy, international relations, public policy, law, economics, trade, or human rights is considered an asset. Applicants must be proficient in English, but no IELTS or TOEFL certificate is required. You must be able to attend the full four-day forum in Geneva from February 10-13, 2027. A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond the forum dates is required.
Requirements
Applicants need to complete an online application, write and submit a motivation statement, and pay a non-refundable application fee of $16.50. A valid passport is also required.
