Overview

IFAD offers six-month internship opportunities for recent university graduates or current students. Interns can extend their internship for an additional six months to gain broader exposure to IFAD's areas of work. These internships are for individuals specializing in fields relevant to IFAD's mission of agricultural development and rural poverty eradication.

Applicants must be 30 years of age or younger. They must either be currently enrolled in an accredited university or graduate school, having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and attended courses in the last 24 months; OR have completed university studies at an undergraduate or postgraduate level within the last 24 months. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another IFAD official language (Arabic, French, or Spanish) or any other language may be necessary depending on the region of assignment. Ethiopian students are eligible as Ethiopia is a developing country.
