Overview

The KAUST Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) is a fully funded research internship/fellowship opportunity in Saudi Arabia at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). This program offers 130 opportunities annually for exceptionally qualified international students to conduct research for 3 to 6 months. It focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Coverage

This is a fully funded program. Benefits include a $1000 monthly stipend, private bedroom/bathroom, visa fee, round trip airfare, health insurance, tuition fees, social and cultural activities, and access to community resources. All living expenses are covered during the internship.

Eligibility

The program is open to students of any nationality, including Ethiopian students. Applicants must be in their 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree (BS/BSc), have graduated with a Bachelor's degree, or be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program. Strong English language skills are required.

Requirements

Required documents include official transcripts in English from current and prior institutions, a personal statement, a CV, a letter of recommendation, and a valid passport.
