Overview

KMU University Scholarships 2026 in Taiwan are available for international students pursuing Master's or Doctoral degrees at Kaohsiung Medical University. This scholarship aims to support high-achieving students for the academic session of Spring 2027. Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) is a private university established in 1954 in Taipei City, Taiwan, with over 5,000 national and international students.

Coverage

This is a fully-funded scholarship designed to cover most of the expenses for the selected candidates, offering a full free study opportunity.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to all international students from any part of the world, including Ethiopian students, who wish to pursue a Master's or Doctoral degree. There is no requirement for an IELTS test to apply for this award.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the requirements stated in the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan (Ministry of Education). How to apply

The application process is conducted through an online application system. Applicants need to first gain admission to any of the offered degree programs at Kaohsiung Medical University. Once admitted, they will automatically be considered for the scholarship. There is no separate application fee for the scholarship.

Notes

Programs are taught in both Chinese and English. The official application period for Spring Intake 2027 (Graduate Programs Only) is from July 13, 2026, 9:00 AM to October 12, 2026, 5:00 PM (Taiwan local time).
