Overview

The Law Enforcement Family Member Scholarship is a $1,000 financial aid award provided by the law firm Fales & Fales, P.A. to support students who have a family member serving or who has served in law enforcement.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to students of any nationality, provided they are enrolled at an accredited university or law school. Applicants must have a family member (parent, spouse, or sibling) who is or was an active, reserve, retired, deceased, or disabled law enforcement officer.

Requirements

Applicants must be full-time students with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidates must submit a 1-3 page typed essay describing the impact of the law enforcement family member on their life.

Notes

The application deadline is August 31, 2026, at 5:00 pm (CST). Winners will be notified on or about September 30th. By accepting, winners authorize the firm to publish their name and essay for marketing purposes.
