Overview

The MIDE (Master’s in International and Development Economics) program is an 18-month postgraduate study offered at HTW Berlin – University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany. Eligibility

To be eligible for the MIDE program and the DAAD scholarship, Ethiopian students must meet the following criteria: For the MIDE Program: - Hold a recognized undergraduate degree (minimum 180 ECTS or equivalent). - Have some academic background in Economics (economics courses are recommended). - Provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 96 or IELTS 7.0) if their previous degree was not taught in English. For the DAAD Scholarship: - Be from a developing or newly industrialized country (Ethiopia is eligible). - Have at least two years of professional work experience after graduation. - Have completed their most recent university degree within the last six years.

Requirements

Applicants must prepare and upload the following documents for their application: - University degree certificate - Transcript of records (including Cumulative Grade Point Average - CGPA) - Letter of motivation (maximum two pages, personally signed and dated, explaining your motivation and career goals) - Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Europass format, signed and dated - Proof of English language proficiency - Copy of passport - Proof of professional experience (specifically required for DAAD scholarship applicants) - Grading System Explanation (if not already included in your transcript or Diploma Supplement, indicating the highest possible grade and minimum passing grade at your university) - APS certificate (only required for applicants from China, India, and Vietnam, not applicable for Ethiopian students).
