Coverage

Scholars will receive a grant of £18,000, paid monthly over twelve months. For non-fiction writers requiring additional research time, an extended grant for up to eighteen months may be provided at the Foundation's discretion.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to individuals writing in the English language who were born in Africa, or both of whose parents were born in Africa. There are no age restrictions for applicants. Ethiopian students are eligible as Ethiopia is in Africa.
