Overview

The Netflix Internship Program offers 12-week summer internships designed to immerse students in Netflix's unique company culture. These internships are available in the USA, Japan, Poland, and India. The program aims to attract bright minds to collaborate with top innovators, advance abilities across business, entertainment, and technology divisions, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact global audiences.

Coverage

These are described as fully funded internship programs. Interns will also receive unique opportunities for collaboration and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Eligibility

This program is open to all international students, including those from Ethiopia, who are currently enrolled in a university and pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree.

Requirements

Applicants are expected to be inquisitive, fearless, strong, excellent communicators, and effective team players. They should be capable of solving real-world problems, ideally using the S.T.A.R. Method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). Technical candidates should have a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and language proficiency.

How to apply

Applicants must apply online directly through the Netflix job site. The application process typically includes a take-home assessment, followed by approximately two to three rounds of technical, behavioral, and role-specific interviews. Advancement to subsequent stages is based on feedback from each round. Successful candidates are matched with a "Dream Team" based on their background and interests.

Notes

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Netflix usually starts posting roles around mid-August to early September each year, and the intern recruiting season generally runs from late summer to the end of March the following year. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as roles go live.
