Eligibility

This program is open to international applicants from all over the world, including Ethiopian students. Eligibility is categorized as follows: - Students (Category A): Must be enrolled in a university outside Slovakia, have completed at least 2.5 years of their current study program, and be accepted for an academic mobility stay in Slovakia. This category does not apply to doctoral (PhD) studies. - PhD Students (Category B): Must be enrolled in a doctoral program outside Slovakia and accepted by a public, private, or state higher education institution or a research institution in Slovakia for an academic mobility stay to study, conduct research, or an artistic stay. - University Teachers, Researchers, and Artists (Category C): Must be invited for a teaching, research, or artistic stay in Slovakia by an institution with a valid certificate of eligibility to carry out research and development. Scholarship recipients are selected based on their academic record, the quality of their research proposal (for research scholarships), language proficiency, and the relevance of their proposed project to Slovakia.
