Overview

This is the UNHCR Internship Program for 2026, open to international students and recent graduates worldwide. It is a fully funded opportunity lasting 2 to 6 months, offered at various UNHCR locations, including its headquarters. Coverage

This is a fully funded internship. Benefits include allowances for food, transportation, and living expenses. Interns who do not receive external financial support will also be provided with a stipend to help cover their costs.

Eligibility

This internship is open to international applicants from all countries and nationalities. Eligible candidates include current undergraduate or graduate students, as well as recent graduates who have completed their studies within the last two years. No English Language Proficiency Certificate is required. Applicants must secure their own medical insurance valid for the entire duration of the internship and provide proof of coverage to UNHCR.
