Overview

The WTO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a prestigious one-year opportunity based at the WTO Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland. Coverage

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of a WTO member country, with preference given to candidates from developing and least-developed countries that are under-represented in the WTO Secretariat. Candidates must be 32 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2027.

Requirements

Applicants must hold an advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in fields such as economics, econometrics, international relations, law, environmental studies, or other trade-related subjects. A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience is required, along with fluency in English.
