Eligibility

This scholarship is open to undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of full-time college coursework (or 50% of required credit hours for graduation, or an Associate degree) and graduate students. Applicants must be full-time students as defined by their accredited educational institution. A declared major in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or a Business-related field is required. Applicants must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.00. There are no explicit nationality restrictions mentioned, making Ethiopian students eligible.

Requirements

Required documents include a completed application form, an official transcript showing the cumulative grade point average, a brief description of additional academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and leadership roles, a description of current and future efforts to pursue education and/or a career in the insurance field, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, business or civic leader, or member of the clergy directly addressing the applicant’s efforts in the insurance field.
