Overview

The Birmingham Global South Fellowship is a fully funded opportunity for early-career researchers from countries in the Global South. This fellowship allows selected individuals to spend three months at the University of Birmingham in the UK, collaborating with leading academics. Coverage

This is a fully funded fellowship. Selected fellows will receive travel expenses of up to £850 and a monthly stipend of £1500 to cover living expenses. On-campus accommodation can be booked on the fellow's behalf, with the cost deducted from the stipend, though availability is not guaranteed. Further information on private accommodation options and support is available upon request.

This fellowship is open to early-career researchers from Global South countries, including Ethiopia. Applicants must be affiliated with a university or research institution in a Global South country and demonstrate strong research potential. A key requirement is having completed a doctorate degree.
