Overview

The EMBL European ARISE2 Postdoctoral Fellowship is a three-year program designed for experienced researchers in STEM fields. It focuses on the development of technologies, services, and infrastructure for life science research rather than traditional academic publishing. Fellows are employed as staff at EMBL, gaining experience in research infrastructure, service provision, and technology transfer.

Coverage

This is a salaried postdoctoral employment position. Eligibility

Open to researchers worldwide who hold a PhD by the application deadline. Candidates who have successfully defended their thesis but have not yet received the degree are also eligible. Applicants must demonstrate prior expertise in technology or technique development relevant to EMBL research infrastructures. Candidates must not have spent more than 12 months at EMBL in the three years prior to the deadline.

Requirements
