Overview

HENNGE’s Global Internship Program (GIP) is an on-site software engineering training program based at the company's headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. It is designed for students and early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in a global, English-speaking environment.

Coverage

This is a fully funded internship. While the program is unpaid, HENNGE provides a monthly subsidy, round-trip airfare, visa guidance, medical insurance, and a Japanese mobile phone with data. Interns also gain access to networking luncheons, technical sessions, and office facilities.

Eligibility

Open to international students and recent graduates from all over the world. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree (third year or higher), master’s, or doctoral studies in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent experience from bootcamps/internships.

Requirements

Applicants must be fluent in English (Japanese is not required). Technical requirements include knowledge of Linux, MacOS, or Unix-like systems, and experience in Python or Go (for Full-Stack) or React/Vue in TypeScript (for Front-End). Familiarity with AWS and Terraform is preferred.

How to apply

Applications are submitted online via the official website. You must select a pathway (Front-End or Full-Stack), register, and complete a coding challenge. Submit your CV and cover letter along with your coding challenge results. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a phone screening and an online interview.

Notes

Positions are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis; there is no predefined deadline. Apply as early as possible to secure a spot. Outstanding participants may be offered full-time employment.
