Overview

The KAUST Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) is a competitive, fully-funded research internship program in Saudi Arabia for international students. It offers students the chance to work on faculty-led research projects in STEM fields for a duration of 2 to 6 months.

Coverage

The program is fully funded and covers: round-trip airfare, visa costs, private bedroom with bathroom, health insurance, and a monthly stipend of $1,000 for living expenses.

Eligibility

Open to international students from all countries. Applicants must be currently enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree program.

Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 (some projects may require higher). Proficiency in English is required. Required documents include an official transcript in English, a letter of recommendation, a personal statement, a valid passport, and a CV.
