Overview

The NPGH LEADERs Global Health Fellowship is a one-year research training program for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. Coverage

Eligibility

Applicants must be doctoral students (having completed at least one year of coursework) or postdoctoral researchers (typically within six years of earning their terminal degree). Applicants must be affiliated with one of the program's authorized partner institutions. While specific partner countries are listed, the program is open to international applicants who can secure the required mentorship and institutional affiliation.

Requirements

Applicants must secure two mentors: one from a U.S. consortium university and one from an approved international partner site. A research proposal, mentorship plan, personal statement, project budget, and recommendation letters are required. Candidates must be available to dedicate 40 hours per week to research for 12 months.
