Overview

The OECD Internship Programme offers students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to gain professional experience in an international setting. Interns support Policy Analysts or corporate functions by conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to publications and meetings.

Coverage

Interns receive a contribution to monthly living expenses of approximately 1,000 Euros. Interns are also entitled to annual leave of approximately 2.5 days per month worked.

Eligibility

Open to students currently enrolled in a full-time degree program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) at a recognized institution. While priority is often given to OECD member country nationals, the program is open to international applicants for specific roles.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled full-time for the duration of the internship. Essential skills include excellent command of English or French, strong quantitative and IT skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of one month.

How to apply

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via the official SmartRecruiters portal. You must submit a resume and a cover letter (message to the hiring manager). Early application is advised as the selection process can take up to three months.

Notes

Internships last between one and six months, with the possibility of renewal up to 12 months. Work is typically 40 hours per week, though part-time arrangements (minimum 20 hours) may be possible.
