The One Young World Summit Leading Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for outstanding young leaders from around the world to attend the annual One Young World Summit in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 3–6, 2026. The program aims to support leaders from under-represented regions who are actively working to create positive change in their communities.

Coverage

The scholarship is fully funded and covers delegate access to the summit, hotel accommodation (from November 2–6, 2026), travel costs to and from Cape Town, and all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of the summit. The program is open to young leaders from all countries, including Ethiopia, who demonstrate a commitment to addressing local or global issues.

Requirements

Candidates must provide evidence of a commitment to delivering positive change, a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas, and a proven ability to lead and create change in their home country.

Notes

Selected participants will gain access to a global network of over 20,000 collaborators, mentorship sessions, and the opportunity to represent their country at the Opening Ceremony.
