Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program 2027 in USA (Fully Funded)

The Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program is a fully funded 12-week professional development program designed to empower leaders in business reporting. It offers a transformative learning experience for journalists from around the world. The program is tentatively scheduled to take place from March 15 to May 31, 2027, at the Chicago Hyde Park campus in the USA.

This is a fully funded fellowship. Participants will receive: - Airfare reimbursement. - Reimbursement for SEVIS and visa application fees. - A stipend of $14,000 to cover living expenses. - Health insurance through UChicago’s student/visitor plan. - Housing guidance and resources to assist in finding accommodations in Chicago. - Opportunities to audit classes at one of the top global business schools. - Attendance at exclusive seminars, conferences, and workshops at Chicago Booth and across the university. - Collaboration and networking opportunities with fellow participants and university scholars. - A chance to write for the ProMarket publication. - A certificate of participation upon successful completion of the residency.

- The program is open to journalists working in all forms of media from around the world. - Freelancers and editors are eligible to apply. - Applicants must be proficient in English. - Candidates should possess at least some years of professional experience. - Applicants with a keen interest in deepening their understanding of political economy are strongly encouraged to apply.
