Overview

The UNICEF Internship Programme provides students and recent graduates with hands-on professional experience in the humanitarian sector. Interns contribute to UNICEF's mission of promoting children's rights and welfare across over 190 countries.

Coverage

UNICEF provides a monthly stipend to interns. A one-time lump sum contribution towards travel and visa costs may be granted, subject to funding availability. UNICEF also provides necessary documentation to support visa applications.

Eligibility

Open to international students and recent graduates from all countries, including Ethiopia. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program, or have graduated within the past two years. - Proficiency in at least one of UNICEF's working languages (English, French, or Spanish) is required. - Excellent academic performance. - No immediate relatives working for UNICEF.
