The UNICEF Traineeship 2027 is a summer internship program designed for international students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. Coverage

This is a fully-funded internship. UNICEF provides a monthly stipend to interns. Additionally, a one-time lump sum may be granted to cover travel and visa costs, depending on funding availability. UNICEF will also provide necessary supporting documents for visa applications.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old and either currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program, or have graduated within the past two years. Proficiency in at least one of UNICEF's working languages (English, French, or Spanish) is required, with fluency in the specific office's working language potentially also necessary. Candidates must have strong academic performance and motivation. There should be no immediate relatives (mother, father, sister, brother) working with UNICEF, or any relatives in the applicant's reporting line of authority. Prior relevant professional experience is considered an advantage.
