Overview

The UNICEF Venture Fund Internship 2026 offers part-time positions for 6 months within UNICEF's Office of Innovation in Stockholm, Sweden. The internship can be completed either in person in Stockholm or remotely. This program focuses on supporting early-stage, open-source technology solutions that aim to benefit children and communities globally. Key areas of focus include artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, blockchain, UAVs, IoT, data science, and assistive technology.

Coverage

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend. However, if an intern is already receiving financial support for their internship from a third party, they will not receive the UNICEF stipend.

Eligibility

This internship is open to applicants of all nationalities, including Ethiopian students. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and either currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or have graduated from such a program within the past two years. A relevant academic background is required, such as Social and Economic Development, Business Administration, Political Science, Economics, Innovation, Public Administration, or a related field. Applicants must possess strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, along with good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). Strong written and spoken English proficiency is essential, and candidates must be available to work on a part-time basis.

Notes
