Overview

Coverage

Successful applicants will receive full conference registration, refreshments, and meals during the conference. Financial assistance is also provided for travel to and from London (by air, rail, coach, or bus), UK visa application costs, limited local transportation, and up to six nights of accommodation. Per diem fees are not included in the fellowship.

Eligibility

Requirements

Applicants must submit a completed application form, a two-page CV or resume, a professional biography of 150–300 words, three samples of their work or pertinent websites, a motivational statement of 500 words, a strategy outlining how they will impart what they discover, a letter of support from an employer, editor, school, or other pertinent organization, details of their passport, and information about their affiliation and professional background.

Applications are evaluated in two phases. Qualified reviewers assess the applicant’s professional work, motivation, and potential contribution to WCSJ2027. Following this, authorized WCSJ2027 Travel Fellowship administrators conduct administrative and eligibility checks, considering financial need and the overall composition of the cohort.
