Overview

The Global Migration Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University is offering a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. This is a two-year, in-person position located in Toronto, Canada. Coverage

Eligibility

Applicants must possess a PhD in Sociology, Geography, Migration Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, or any related social science discipline with a specific focus on migration and labour market integration. Essential qualifications include strong qualitative research skills, academic writing proficiency, publication skills, and practical experience in conducting focus groups and interviews. Candidates must also have experience using qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo. The ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in knowledge mobilization, fluency in different languages, research grant writing skills, and international research experience. While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, applications from Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority. Ethiopian students are eligible to apply.
